Make hay while the sun shines

It’s summer here in Tasmania. Just saying. Of course during these sunny months it’d be rude not to make the most of the fine weather and spend time on two wheels! The year is already flying by, over three weeks through already. Crazy, huh?

This year I am setting zero goals in regards to cycling. No distance or time per week or events. Nothing. I may do Sally’s Ride again as that was good fun, but apart from that I am going to just ride my bike. In 2019 it’s all about simply enjoying the time I do get to spend on two wheels and worrying less about it when I’m not able to.

I’ll still be hammering on those pedals hard and often, but there are other aspects of my life besides cycling that I’d like to spend more time and attention on also. Oh and I’ve been making actual hay too …

I like that goal, man. I’m already off from last year so there’s no sense trying to duplicate it… too much work, anyway.

Just wanted to see if I’d angered you in some way… just realized I hadn’t heard from you in a while.

    1. Not at all, brother. Just been limiting my “screen time” this month with so much to do around the property and a few trips away. :-)

I kinda figured, just wanted to make sure, bud. I hope you’re having an awesome summer down there – we’re paying for it up here, let me tell you! It’s cold enough the C and F don’t matter, it’s the same temp!

        1. Thanks for checking in. :-) Summer has been hot and very dry so far. Good for cycling, not so good for bushfires.
