Yesterday a long time neighbour and huge influence on my younger years passed away. It’s sad, but at the same time not. She’d had a good innings, lived a long and beautifully fulfilled life, made peace with the world. She touched the hearts of many people throughout her years and helped keep us all on the right path.
Her memory will be cherished by family and friends – quite literally – all across the globe. I’ll be raising a glass to Joyce tonight.
It’s these melancholy moments in life that remind you to truly appreciate the small things. The everyday things. Each morning you wake still sunny side up should be celebrated as you never know how many days you’ve got left. Make each one count.
Live life. Ride bikes. Appreciate. Enjoy.
So true!
