Wishing all of my cycling brothers and sisters out there a very Merry Christmas. As yet another orbit of the sun for our Planet Earth nears completion, I hope you all had a fulfilling 2023, and that the coming year is even better. It has been a year here for sure, with some fantastic highs and of course some lows.
It was a year in which we lost a good friend and riding buddy in Jon. That hit hard. I also suffered from some medical issues, including an impromptu trip to the ER in an ambulance.

On the flip side, I discovered the joys of gravel (yes, I know) and entered my first race in many, many years. It was a tough and humbling experience, but good “fun” I think? I’ve managed to smash out a decent amount of hours on the bike for someone with a full time job. I’m pretty happy with that. A big shout-out to everyone I’ve ridden with this year too. It’s been grand!

Thank you as always for stopping by, for giving up some of your free time to read my sometimes pointless drivel, and for popping a comment or two below. I really do appreciate all of your interactions.
Merry Christmas! Keep those wheels turning and the rubber side on the road!
