Sigma Sports and Matt Stephens (ex pro racer and former GCN host) have produced a series called “The Café Ride” where Matt goes for a ride and a chat with a name from the cycling world. The latest one is with Rebecca Charlton, filmed a couple of months ago when she was pregnant (she has now given birth).

Many people may not know this, but I gave Rebecca her first big break when she got to tag along for a ride with me! It was filmed on a Woking CC club run as part of The Cycle Show! 😂

Okay, so maybe she was a big name before that, but hey, poetic licence! Looking back, it was one of many great memories and opportunities I had riding with the club. Good times.

Other names that have taken part in the Sigma Sports Café Ride series include Mark Cavendish, Fabian Cancellara, Alex Dowsett, and Sir Bradley Wiggins. Every episode is well worth a watch! The videos usually run around 25 minutes so they’re perfect to kick back with a coffee and watch during some downtime.
