Thanks to my friends at Wheelsuckers I’m about to get my hands on an intriguing new product that’s going to hit the stands of the London Bike Show. I’ve been hooked up with a pair of Tannus Aither 1.1 road tyres. Now these are no ordinary bicycle tyre…
They’re a totally solid tyre right the way through, negating the need for an inner tube and totally removing any risk of puncture! Sounds great in theory but what we’re all wondering is how they ride. Once I’ve given them a thorough testing, my review will be published on Wheelsuckers. Click on the banner below to check out their fantastic road cycling info and social media website.
I’m also wondering, if they’re solid, how you get them on a rim… Tubular rim maybe?

Just checked ’em out… Interesting.

Normal clincher rim, but they do take a little more persuasion to get seated correctly. I’ll cover installation in my initial review coming up soon.
