Letterbox Dragon

If you’re not pedalling out to awesome cafes, stopping when you see cool stuff by the roadside or taking photos of the amazing views you experience, then you’re totally doing cycling wrong!

I’d seen this “letterbox dragon” on a drive before and had been meaning to cycle to it just for kicks. It’s chained up next to the property’s letterbox and always makes me smile when I see it. I’d been putting off cycling to it for a while as it’s actually along a 110kph speed limit stretch of the Arthur Highway (or what constitutes a Highway in Tasmania, hehehe).

As I’m having a lower mileage week after last week’s adventures I popped out on the bike simply to take a photo. Yep, my whole ride goal before setting out was to be on the pedals for two hours and snap off a good photo of the dragon. Tick and tick. Job done!
